The Oakland Press is a proud member of the Journal

dedicated to the Community of Clarkston.
In 2004, The Oakland Press was pleased to become part
of the Journal Register Company (NYSE: JRC). With the acquisition, the
Company now owns 27 daily newspapers with approximately 615,000 total
daily circulation. The Company also owns 368 non-daily publications with
total distribution of more than 6.4 million, as well as a commercial
printing and software development company. The Company’s operations are
strategically clustered in seven geographic areas: Greater Philadelphia,
Michigan, Connecticut, Greater Cleveland, Central New England, and the
Capital-Saratoga and Mid-Hudson regions of New York.
